    somerset place: bath

While at Orms Designers + Architects, I worked as Project Architect for the refurbishment of Somerset Place, a grade I listed Georgian crescent in Lansdown, Bath. Planning permission was granted in 2011 for the formation of twenty apartments and nine town houses within the crescent, along with five new-build houses within the rear gardens. In addition to developing detailed planning and listed building applications, I worked with Timothy Richards model makers on the producation of a 1:20 plaster model of one of the dwellings to demonstrate the potential of the town houses. "Rebecca spent a year working with us on the iconic Somerset Place project in Bath and showed a quick grasp of the innate complexities of the scheme and an ability to achieve constructive design solutions".
