About

Studio Pike was founded by Rebecca Rajah Pike in 2013, following ten years of working in practice in Central London - working on the nuts and bolts of house extension projects at a small Islington team as well as larger schemes including a Grade I listed whole-crescent refurbishment in Bath.

Working closely with individuals and families to transform their homes, the aim is to provide a professional and approachable service; guiding clients through their legal obligations of undertaking a building project as well as providing imaginative and coherent design solutions. A strong belief that a building project should be a fun and memorable endeavour and that the journey should be as effortless and enjoyable as possible means Rebecca has developed long lasting relationships leading to repeat projects and referrals to friends.

Alongside working with clients, Rebecca has redeveloped a number of Central London properties culminating in the extension and whole house refurbishment of her 1960s family home in South West London. Drawing inspiration from five years of living on the Barbican Estate, the house is located within a garden community and is designed to celebrate natural light, clean detailing and a warm material palette.

Rebecca trained at the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University and has maintained links with the school as a regular visiting tutor over the past twenty years.
