Studio Pike was approached in autumn 2013 to work alongside Professor Richard Weston on the design and delivery of his own new-build house and studio, located in the village of Sully, close to the Bristol Channel in South Wales.
The single storey, linear house occupies a left-over piece of land behind suburban houses and will be an exemplar project for the Digital Arts and Crafts. The living areas will be transformed by water, sunlight and materials made using digital techniques, from silk in glass mineral prints to laser-etched slate. Planning permission was granted in April 2014.

"I taught Rebecca and she worked for me as a Research Assistant before entering practice. I have recently asked her to prepare the Planning and Production Drawings for my own house and studio, which speaks for itself: Rebecca is talented, thoroughly professional and a natural listener who is a pleasure to work with."
Richard Weston, Director, Digital Arts and Crafts
